Knowledge Co. for Sustainable Development, a social enterprise capitalizing on 25 years-experience in MIS, knowledge management and B2B marketing programs, adopted since 2012 a strategy focusing on agribusiness, and its food / water / energy nexus as the sector representing 50% of Egyptians livelihood.
With the launch of a sister organization, Knowledge Economy Foundation, KSD and KEF pioneered the first agribusiness digital marketing platform, based on value chain strategies and inclusive business approaches to link small farmers’ groups to their markets and ecosystem at large, with a focus on youth and women.
Our model combines ICT applications with business development services for companies and capacity building for small farmers’ groups, together with extension services in cooperation with the state agencies, supported by a marketing and management unit.
